Circulation depends on the whole plant
Poor flow may be caused by the pump, strainers, filters, air ingress, valves, controls or blocked pipework. A system check avoids replacing the pump when another component is responsible.
Common symptoms
Pool-pump attention may be needed for:
- No flow or loss of prime
- Noise, vibration or leakage
- Electrical tripping or overheating
- Reduced circulation through filters
- Control or timer faults
- Obsolete or inefficient equipment
Replacement and commissioning
Any replacement must be compatible with the required flow, head, filtration equipment, connections, electrical supply and operating schedule.
